Why is there no love for the 5th grade Derry Demons football team? They beat a very good Salem team in a hard fought game last Sunday to advance to the State Championship Game vs. Pelham-Windham.

I can't seem to find a way to easily submit an event for some of your calendars. Your FAQ section that covers this says to call you with the phone # or to email. I cannot find information on who to email. for the different event calendars (i.e. "Do North", Road Race, Family calendars" Can you please help me with this?

Unfortunately our online archives do not go back that far. Archives
are available on microfiche at the local library like Memorial Hall
Library in downtown Andover.

Is there any online way to access Eagle-Trib issues from way back? I'm trying to find something from...late 1984? It was a high-school editorial essay contest on "What America needs most".
If there's no way to access it online, what's the process for requesting to have someone climb down into the dungeon and flip through the microfiche?
Appreciate any help you can give!

I really think the Mainline Creamery is a icon of Andover! Where else can you take the kids and relax having ice cream in summer? I for one would like to see the town explain to the kids of Andover why they wont let the Mainline Creamery stay! It is tough enough in the current economic climate on our kids as it is,even Barack Obama has asked them to make a special effort at school... you'd think the town would make every effort to let the local Ice Cream shop stay! They expect everyone else to put in an effort to volunteer and help the community as much as possible... it's about time they made more of an effort to keep this icon of summer in Andover.

How do you have the right to give out addresses of people "accused" of committing a crime? This could lead to further retaliation against the persons in question and victimize anyone else living at that address. I hope something like this does not happen, but if it does, and it's your fault, I hope the family take you to the cleaners.
